CHOOSE Survey: Help Improve Treatment Decision-Making in IBD

A national survey is currently being conducted to better understand how treatment decisions are made in IBD. The CHOOSE survey explores how doctors and patients evaluate treatment options, assess risks, and prioritize goals in clinical decision-making.

IBD management often involves multiple approved therapies and no single “right” choice. The survey aims to identify similarities and differences between doctor and patient perspectives, including treatment goals, risk tolerance, and priorities. These insights will help highlight potential gaps, misunderstandings, or communication challenges and support more informed, patient-centered care.

Participation is anonymous and takes approximately 15 minutes to complete in one sitting. All participants are automatically entered into a raffle to win an iPad.

Fill out the survey and contribute to advancing best clinical practice while integrating patient perspectives in IBD care.
